Machine washable, grey, soft, non-woven: Choose from 30% wool and 70% cotton, 50% wool and 50% cotton, 80% wool and 20% cotton, acrylic & polyester blend. Excellent insulation for injured patients or victims in shock. Ideal for stretchers, first-aid rooms, automobiles, camping and cold weather survival gear. Natural wool and synthetic blend fabric is extremely light and warm, and even maintains its thermal properties when wet.

Wool blankets are one of the main items we are known for at KEMP. In the past, we have made them for a small group of dealers but now have decided to catalog them for all our dealers. Our blankets have been used as relief blankets, hospital blankets, military blankets, hotel blankets, donation blankets, disaster supply, horse blankets, refugee blankets and humanitarian aid blankets. Why Wool? In addition to its warmth and durability, there are many unique and important characteristics that set Wool apart from other fibers. Wool is inherently flame retardant, and it won't melt. Unlike other fibers that are used for bedding, wool can be made so that it will never burn. Wool helps to regulate body temperature. Wool is hygroscopic. Wool is able to absorb humidity deep within the fiber, a feature that helps to regulate and absorb moisture on the skin's surface. Wool is a natural insulator.
